What VCS HR Believes In

Six things that make working here different.

Work That Matters

Your work has a direct impact. Whether you’re improving our software, helping a customer or keeping the business moving, what you do helps organizations manage how they pay and schedule their people every day.

Powerful Collaborations

You’ll work closely with people across the company. With our teams together in Freehold, N.J., ideas are shared, discussed and turned into improvements without getting lost in layers of communication.

A People-First Culture

Room to Grow

New technical skills, leadership opportunities, a bigger role… We’re always evolving and we want you to grow with us.

Rewarding Work

There’s more to work than the work itself. We make time to celebrate milestones, give back through volunteer opportunities and bring our teams together for events and appreciation activities.

VCS HR builds and supports workforce management software: payroll (VisualPAY), time and attendance (VisualTIME), HR and talent management (VisualHCM), document management and scheduling, plus Jobs4Blue, the off-duty scheduling platform used by police departments. Our software is designed, developed and supported in house.

Is VCS HR a good place to work?

NJBiz named VCS HR one of New Jersey’s Best Places to Work in 2026 and in 2020. Honorees are selected based on a review of workplace practices and benefits, along with a confidential employee survey conducted by Best Companies Group. That feedback makes the recognition especially meaningful because it comes directly from the people who know VCS HR best.

What benefits does VCS HR offer?

Full-time employees receive health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

Each job posting lists the pay range and benefits for that role, as required under New Jersey’s pay transparency law.

How do I apply for a job at VCS HR?

Open positions are listed on this page with the pay range, schedule and requirements for each role. Choose a posting and use its Apply button. If nothing fits today, follow VCS HR on LinkedIn and check back; we add roles as the company continues to grow.

Does VCS HR hire entry-level candidates?
