Who we are and what this covers

VCS HR is a brand of Visual Computer Solutions, based in Freehold, New Jersey. In this policy, “VCS HR,” “we” and “us” mean Visual Computer Solutions.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit vcshr.com, contact us, book a meeting, use our chat, try a product demo, or apply for a job, and what we do with it.

This policy covers our website and our sales and marketing contact with you. It does not cover the data our customers put into VisualPAY, VisualHCM, VisualTIME, VisualDMS or Jobs4Blue. That data belongs to the customer and is governed by the customer agreement. If you are an employee of one of our customers and have a question about your own records, contact your employer.

What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact and meeting forms. Name, company, email, phone, job title, how many employees you have, and anything you type in a message field. Our forms run on HubSpot.
  • Book a Meeting. Name, email, company, phone, the page you booked from, and the topic you picked. Our scheduling runs on HubSpot Meetings.
  • Website chat. What you type in the chat window, plus your name and email if you give them. Chat runs on Tidio.
  • Product demos. Name, email and company if you fill in the form inside an interactive demo. Demos run on Storylane.
  • Phone calls. Your phone number and the number you dialed. See Calls and text messages below.
  • Job applications. Name, contact details, resume, work history, and anything else you include.
  • Event registrations and lunch-and-learn sign-ups. Name, company, email, phone.

Information collected automatically when you visit:

  • Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, time on page, the site you came from, and the ad or search that brought you here.
  • Cookies and similar identifiers set by the tools listed under Cookies and tracking tools.
  • Business identification. We use a service that matches your IP address and browsing activity to a company and, where it can, to a business contact at that company, so our sales team can follow up.

How we use it

  • To answer your question, book your meeting, run your demo, or process your application.
  • To follow up on a sales inquiry by email, phone or text message.
  • To send marketing email about our products and events. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To see which pages, ads and campaigns bring people to the site, and to show our ads to people who have visited.
  • To identify businesses visiting the site so our sales team can reach out.
  • To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some of the ad and analytics tools below share data with their providers in ways that state laws may treat as a “sale” or “sharing.” You can opt out of those; see Your choices.

Calls and text messages

When you call a number on this site, CallRail logs the number you called from, the number you dialed, the time, and how long the call lasted, and matches the call to the ad or page that showed you the number.

Calls to the sales numbers on this site are recorded for quality and training purposes. You will hear a notice at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, tell the person who answers, or contact us through the website instead.

If you give us a mobile number, a member of our sales team may text you about your inquiry. We don’t run marketing text campaigns. Reply STOP to any text and we’ll stop. Message and data rates may apply.

Biometric time clocks

Some of the time clocks we sell can identify employees by face or iris. The employer that buys the clock decides whether to turn that feature on and is responsible for giving its employees notice and getting their consent where state law requires it, including under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and similar laws in Texas and Washington. This website does not collect biometric data.

How long we keep it

We keep the information described above for as long as we need it for the purposes listed, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of each tool, generally 14 to 26 months. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see Your choices.
